Hi everyone! My name is Samantha Lawson Davis, and I bring over a decade of experience in training and instructional design, primarily within the behavioral health field. I currently serve as the Senior Director of Training at LSF Health Systems, where I oversee the development and delivery of training programs for professionals who support vulnerable populations, including the elderly and those with mental health or substance use challenges.

My background combines education, business, and health care, with a strong focus on adult learning principles and technology-enhanced instruction. I'm passionate about creating engaging, accessible learning experiences that not only meet compliance standards but truly empower learners.

I'm also pursuing a Doctorate in Education (EdD) with a specialization in Educational Technology, where my research focuses on designing effective blended learning programs for peer specialists. I love finding ways to integrate real-world application, trauma-informed practices, and learner-centered strategies into course design.

Outside of work, I enjoy painting, reading, singing, and spending time with my family. I’m excited to learn alongside all of you and grow as an instructional designer through this course!
